This week, I've executively decided, we're going to let the spirit of the seminal 1987 classic "Adventures in Babysitting" carry us through what is looking like a rather epic weekend (adventure). The kind of weekend that may actually result in you taking a week or two off afterwards as a result.

I'll keep Thursday simple:
-either go see SPINDRIFT and then thank me later
or
-go to the Cat for both Glasvegas/Ida Maria (if you have tickets that is) AND/or for Say Hi
Or stay home, watch "30 rock", watch the game and sleep.
Because, lets face it, you're gonna need it.
And....If you see Dakota Fine out and about-wish him a happy birthday. Buy him a taco. Or both.
FRIDAY

Daryl: To hell! Kind of exciting, don'tcha think?

i have now played that opening sequence 3 times. Not going to lie, I love that movie.
great. now all i want to do with my life is watch adventures in babysitting. well there goes any hopes of productivity for the rest of the day.
when i was little i always wanted that to happen to me when i had a sitter. than then when i used to babysit i always wanted a reason to have such an adventure. it never happened.
saturday i'm going to be at driving school. i miss the kite festival every year.
i think staying in and watching this on repeat MAY be the answer to making any decisions this weekend
george jones is playing the patriot center on saturday night at 7:30. there's an $18.75 two-for-one ticket deal going on.
and you know what's sort of near the patriot center? the nra museum! which has a 'guns of the old west' exhibit! and (allegedly) a shooting range.
that sounds like a great saturday date plan to me - kites, old-timey guns and george jones.

don't sleep on Vincent D'Onofrio as Mr. Dawson (Thor!!!!) ... great flick. that's when the crush on Elizabeth Shue began.
the best scene is obviously where's liz shue's frizzed bff (an obvious precursor to kim gibs) is harshly evicted from the photo booth (aka the homeless man's dwelling complete with slippers)

btw - congrats to will and the blisspop crew on their 100th party tomorrow! thats an accomplishment that you guys should be really proud of.
