Well, Ted Leo is in town (with John Davis' Title tracks opening) which means that every boy in DC is pitching a tent in front of The Black Cat tonight.

And as if that juggernaut was not enough EL VEZ!!!!!!!!! IS AT 930 CLUB.

"Brothers" AND "Everybody's fine" open so take your friends and your kleenex and high tail it to the nearest movie theater.
If you're in the mood to laugh instead of cry, may we suggest 3 Chord Comedy hora de feliz at Velvet lounge? 4 Bucks and all good.
After the movie, grab a drink somewhere and then go dance: at Dahlak, at the Black Cat, at the Green Lantern, maybe even (GasP!) at Chief Ike's.

Ladies and gentlemen, Sarah Palin is in town. Where? Politics & Prose? Barnes & Noble? Maybe Borders? NO. She's at BJ's. Why do people just make it so easy to make fun of them it is not even fun anymore.

That aside-it is a good day people. A GOOD DAY.
1. Big Pink and Crystal Antlers are in town. It's the best show of the month and the month has only started.
2. so is Rob Zombie (though predictably sold out for MONTHS)
3. A super solid local band bill happens @ RNR Hotel
4. The 2 District Calling performances happen tonight

My favorite real estate watching party of the year happens today: The Logan Circle Holiday Home Tour (there is a party at Studio Theatre too). It is a nosy person's HEAVEN. And lets face it-we're all nosy. I hope the weather is nice.

That aside, rest, relax, have some of that mascarpone stuffed frenched toast at Left Bank, catch up on your DVR, and get excited for Kathy Bates chewing some scenery in tonight's part 1 of SyFy's "Alice".
