Got my tix for Sleigh Bells/RHCP today in the presale, as I'll be out of town for their 9:30 gig. Will be interesting to see how they adapt to arena rock. Lord knows they are loud enough to fill the Verizon Center and I'm kind of looking forward to the horrified look on the funk fans faces when Sleigh Bells melts their face off.
Punch Bros. are coming to 9:30 club -- tickets on sale tomorrow at 10am. They are fantastic live. And I don't normally say that about bands that involve a banjo.
