This week at the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theatre, join the dancers of The Washington Ballet for LE CORSAIRE -- a swashbuckling adventure of pirates, pashas, and the slave girls who love them in internationally-regarded classical repetiteur Anna-Marie Holmes' thrilling production of the 19th century classic by Marius Petipa. The story of lovers Conrad and Medora, the evil Seid Pasha, and company of corsairs enchants and excites. We'll have a photo preview tomorrow, but for now here's a sneak peek:

my favorite dance move is the "pon di river" ...
if this is featured in the ballet, i'd pay, but since it's probably not, hook me up with some tickets BYT!!!
My personal favorite is "The Marty" or "The Landlord." It's really up to how the music moves you when it comes to specific choreography, but you must be wearing a nude bodysuit and leaves. Tumbles are highly encouraged.
