OK-so Big Boi, of Outkast and general awesomeness fame is at 930 Club tomorrow.
If you read our Pitchfork Festival coverage, you know that you can expect the following:
The set was roughly composed of 60% Outkast classics, 20% Sir Lucious Left Foot the Son of Chico Dusty, 10% hype man, and 10% preteen males breakdancing and imploring the females in the audience to take of their shirts. Which adds up to 90% freaking incredible (sorry, hype man).

The hottest artist out there right now, in my humble opinion, is Janelle Monae. Her genre busting soulful tracks and her brilliant nonsexualized style are totally refreshing.
Though Outkast were definitely the freshest for a while and Big Boi himself recognized Monaes talent and put her on Idlewild. <3 them all.

NO BODY IS SEEING MS FABULOUS JANELLE MONAE! SHE IS SO INSPIRING, UNIQUE, VINTAGE AND A SUPER TREND SETTER. A true Artist to its core, by being musically fresh and her moves are fabulous. Something off Broadway but funky enough for the streets.

hmm..depends on your definition of coolness. I could say Jens Lekman because of how painfully sincere and down to earth he seems. He even responds to almost every bit of fan mail he receives.

Was lucky enough to see him in Detroit with Jay-z last week. He brought out Dre, D12, B.o.B., Drake, 50 Cent, and obviously Jay-z for his set. Think about that -- its pretty out of control. From Dre to B.o.B., from doin Aint Nothin but a G-thang to Airplanes, his set covered 20 years of hip-hop. For me, that was unbeatable. Name anyone else out there in the game who could pull that off.
