"The dress is pink or white and the era is 40's-50's chic and there will be a great prize from Saks Fifth Avenue for the best dressed lady or gentleman." Get tickets.
- Friday, July 23 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m.: The Temporium, a temporary store featuring a few of the best DC-based fashion designers, opens on 1300 H Street NE. Meet the designers! Billy Colbert, Dana Greaves, de Nada, Derringer Friday, Dopeville, Bill Johnson, Kristi Love, Jon Wye, Albus Cavus, AM Radio. Cupcakes and refreshing beverages sponsored by istrategylabs.
- Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24 stop by Textile Museum for INTERVOWEN, evenings in performance featuring on July 23, New York-based fashion collective threeASFOUR, whose designers hail from Lebanon, Israel and Tajikistan, will collaborate on a performance based on Yoko Ono’s "Cut." The July 24 program will feature a new, site-specific work by Copenhagen-based duo Henrik Vibskov & Andreas Emenius—in their first ever U.S. appearance. Following the performances, Sabrina Gschwandtner, founder of KnitKnit magazine, will moderate a Q&A with the artists. The evening events will also feature film screenings and a performance by artist Peggy Noland. Tickets: $20.
