Just took an amazing trip to Tanzania over the holidays- 3 days safari, 8 days climbing Kilimanjaro, 3 days on the beach in Zanzibar. NYE happened as we were making our way up the mountain and we could see fireworks exploding in the town below and some of the guides set off a few of their own.

My staycation at the Tabard Inn was the best because they the coolest rooms in DC!
This past summer: taking the woman i had been dating for six weeks on a ten day vacation to a cottage with my immediate family where she meets lots of my extended family on both my fathers and mothers side (and even those across the border!). Wanting to avoid waking my parents in the next room we have sex under the stars on the dock, inside the boat another night when it begins to rain. In Canada we shoot smuggled guns in the woods, visit 2 castles on Islands, find the gayborhood in Ottawa, stop by the lezzie bookstore only to realize it is closed and we just missed a rope bondage workshop where we could have met fellow poly kinksters but missed it cuz we were f*cking in the backseat of my parents car! Oh and none of my family said anything too outwardly racist/fucked up while on the trip and we are still togehter!
