What was left of H Street’s vacant R. L. Christian Library, which closed back in 2008, has been transformed into TEMPORIUM, a temporary, pop-up shop showcasing D.C.-based designers. The initiative, running through August 15th, kicked off last Friday, when 7 local designers sold selections from their lines, which included Transient, Artistic AYA, Dopeville, and de*Nada.
The Pink Line Project's Philippa Hughes partnered with the Green Door Advisors, along with the District’s Office of Planning to revive the space, located at 1300 H St., NE, as well as support the city’s fashion community. Don’t miss next weekend’s vintage trunk show.
Hours: Thursdays and Fridays, 6-10 p.m.; Saturdays 2-10 p.m.; Sundays noon-5 p.m. Visit the TEMPORIUM Web site for more information.
