This past Friday, Corcoran's  NOW! AT NIGHT returned celebrating contemporary (site specific) art (by emerging and mid-career artists) in their NOW! CONTEMPORARY gallery.

The evening, which last year replaced the Fall Fete as the Gallery's autumnal soiree (Artini is the springtime tradition) was, as expected a splashy, colorful affair (all the better to go with Chris Martin's PAINTING BIG show) and included DJ set by DJ Spooky and members of Counterpoint, very delicious specialty drinks inspired by the artwork and shaken by cherubic looking Eastern European cocktail staff , dancing, romancing and private viewings of the new and permanent installations of modern and contemporary art, with proceeds benefiting future NOW exhibitions.
