Lawn mower racers from across the country, including the World’s Fastest Lawn Mower and a 2011 Lawn Mower Racing Hall of Fame Inductee, converged, this past weekend, in Southern Maryland for two days of sod slinging action as the United States Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA) presents the STA-BIL Bowles Farms Turf Battle and U.S. Eastern Seaboard Regionals as part of the 7th annual St. Mary’s County Lawn Mower Races,  at Bowles Farms, 22880 Budd’s Creek Rd (Rte. 234), in Clements, MD (intersection of Rte. 234 and Pincushion Rd.). Mike Ratel was there and took these photos:
