The DC Scoop packed the lot at Union Market, and there were lines everywhere for free and delicious ice cream. There were lots of great ice creams, but I would have to go with the Hemp Gelato as promoted by little Mr. Hempseed.

Scoutmob helped host a DC Beer Week event at Smith Commons, where you got a free beer if you had a mustache and/or downloaded the iphone app. It's not actually that hard to drink with a mustache!

+ more BEER WEEK: Local Brewries DC Brau and 3 Star were featured in this DC Beer Week event. In an exciting and educational experience, the guys from 3 Star brewery took a sledge hammer to a steel cask to release the sweet, naturally carbonated beer.

Then, we went to a Playboy party.  It was pretty lame, supposedly I missed a crazy runway photoshoot. Anyways,  we walked to the IMF building downtown, found a homeless person, and interviewed her for a documentary.  She showed us artwork that she donated to a local homeless shelter.  It was sad but also uplifting.  The woman was very positive and volunteers with organizations that support the homeless community.  After this, we went out and partied.
