Disclaimer: This is not a style-guide. This is not about fashion. This is not even judgmental. This column is about people on DC’s streets. It’s about people who seem as if they put a thought or two into their outfits before leaving the house. It’s about people whose look is working for them, in their opinion
Our adventures have led us to believe that there are cool kids everywhere in DC. As I explore DC and its surrounding neighborhoods, we have spotted some pretty unique looking outfits. With Chinatown always being a buzzing area for a variety of people of all ages and style some of them I can't help stop of some the people that caught my eye. These are kids that have already developed/began to develop their own style and aren't afraid to experiment!
Let's play a game.
I spy...
A cheerful girl in an eye catching outfit!

BYT: So Dotty, what brought you to Gallery Place today?
Dotty: To go shopping and to meet up with my friend Brittany from Boarding School
BYT: Awesome! What would you consider your favorite place to shop at?
Dotty: Forever 21.
BYT: Well with that huge Forever 21 just opening up you seem to be in the right place. So what is something that is in currently trendy that you love to wear?
Dotty: Pencil Skirts
Pencil Skirt was originally a pair of jeans she bought for $20 and reconstructed.
BYT: Last question, what movie do you think captivates your style?
Dotty: Pretty Woman
BYT: Now tell BYT about what you are wearing!
Dotty: I got my shirt for $3 at a yard sale and cut it for a different look. My sandals I got from Aldo. Both my sunglasses and belt are from Forever 21
Bracelets all various gifts from friends and family members
