Gay Icon of the Week: The Girl Scouts of America

While the Boy Scouts are way too busy trying to hide sex offenders among their leaders, the Girl Scouts are actually taking it to the next level. Um, is there a badge yet for "FUCKING AMAZING"?!

Proof:

"Conservative troops are leaving in protest." OMG DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS FOR THEM?! Not only do they miss the opportunity to celebrate differences and learn new and interesting things about the ever progressing culture around them, but NO. COOKIES. FOR. YOU. Buuuurrrrrrrrn.

"Oh, I'm sorry your order just doesn't seem to be in here..."

The most recent story has surrounded The Girl Scouts of Colorado, who admitted a 7 year-old transgender child into their troop this past year. Honestly, as much as I love blogging about Beyonce's baby and grandmas with big boobs, this is what it's all about. Promotion of lesbian role models?  Truthful and informative lessons about sex? WHERE ARE MY COOKIES?!

But still, I beg you, never ever look at the nutrition facts for a Girl Scouts cookie. I link it here because, whatever, health is important, but do you know how many vitamins are packed into one serving of FEMINISM?!?!
