- Punk rocker Alice Bag, former vocalist of the Bags, is giving a reading from her book Violence Girl and playing some tunes alongside Big Mouth and DC's Troll Tax at Joint Custody in AdMo.
Friday
Ladies - THIS NIGHT IS FOR YOU!
- Remember Apex, where all us gay boys used to spend Thursday nights in college? Well, it disappeared a few months ago, and is resurfacing as PHASE 1 OF DUPONT - that's right, ladies: a full on lesbian nightclub to call your very own. Amazing.
- What's even more amazing? They're inaugurating the space and christening the newly-pink interiors (no, really) with the sounds of one of our absolute favorite DJs, NATTY BOOM! She's taking over the back room and calling it SNATCH, and you need to be there.
- If you don't want to hit up the hottest new nightclub in town, She.Rex is happening on its normal night at Chief Ike's upstairs.
- Gentlemen: nothin' special tonight, sorry. Maybe join the ladies?
Saturday
- Tonight one of our favorite parties, MIXTAPE, returns to Town Danceboutique. We weren't crazy about MIXTAPE the last time it was at Town, but that just means that we all have to go, dance harder, and make it the awesomeness it usually is. Let's do this, boys.
Sunday
- Remember all the fun times we had over the summer on the Nellies rooftop dancing to Shea Van Horn's Guil-TEA pleasures? Well, he's come up with a special winter edition: Iced-TEA. FUN!
- Flotilla DeBarge presents “Flotilla DeBarge’s Love Boat Show” - There's no link or event for this one. For the past few months, L'Enfant Cafe has been hosting secret Sunday night drag cabaret shows. Now they're ready to announce their Speak Easy series to the world. This week features world famous queen Flotilla DeBarge. Seatings at 7 and 10:30, call ahead for reservations.
- There'a Grammys watch party at Cobalt.
