Brightest Young Things

BRING ON THE WEEKEND! We suggest you buy bottles of champagne, a handle of Smirnoff, some diet coke, and ibuprofen now... just to prepare. We know the work week has been tough... what with 4 whole days in it and all. That's a good enough excuse to get really crazy right??

Your weekend shenanigans are gonna be faaabulous but don't forget your 2012 resolutions.

Friday

OK boys, the name of the game tonight is the CRITTER CRAWL. First, start yourself out at the DC Bear Crüe’s Bear Happy Hour at Town. Never been? What a perfect night to start, because the drinks are cheap, and it will get you all ready for…

OTTER CROSSING at the DC Eagle! Just three months old, this party has rocketed to the top of favorite parties list. And this week, they’re not only beefing up the bar staff, they’re also beefing up the music with one of our other favorites: DJ Bil Todd of RAW fame. We’ll be there. You’ll be too.

OR if you are trying to avoid something/somebody you can go over to DC9 for the Liberation Dance Party. Its been awhile…

OR you can rock out with your cock out/jam out with your clam out (i just grossed myself out typing that) at Looking Glass Lounge for Body Jam 6. It’ll be a real work out as they will “be playing the best in calisthenic jams”

Saturday

DC Front Runners has their Fun Run” at Rock Creek Park this morning. Its pretty early so if you were Critter Crawling on Friday you may not find this a very fun run at all.

Go to Black Cat Backstage for an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and some drink specials. Good bet gays…

All you green living types might want to join the Center for Rural Empowerment and the Environment (CREE) for its 1st 2012 happy hour at Bread and Brew. Beer heaven that you can feel good about!

House music can be fun. House music is fun… just let it happen. Dark Room w/ Lxsx Frxnk & Soul Sway at Backbar will be bringing it. Soul Sway will bring it.

Sunday

Get some arts into your life. The National Symphony Orchestra in Your Neighborhood: Columbia Heights provides you with afternoon musical activities and you really have no excuse to miss it… cuz the performances are FREE dudes! Check out the schedule and go see the NGO this afternoon at GALA Hispanic Theater, Wonderland Ballroom, or St. Stephen’s. Classical music is literally right outside your door.

As always you can hang on every word the BYGays say via Twitter and Facebook!

FIND OTHER STUFF YOU LIKE ON ALLCITY! and now one more image just cuz....
