Hey Ponies! Holy hell 2011 is heading straight for the record books, and you've only got three more days to make magic happen. Luckily, a ton of you are off of work - so let's see just how we're going to make these last three days (and Sunday too!) the best of the year.

Thursday
I swear to god I tried to find something gay for y'all to do tonight but there's just nothing special happening. I recommend hitting up the Diner or Number 9 and then making your way to Cobalt, because that's definitely what everyone else will do.
Or you could just rest up since you know you're going to need it to survive this weekend.
Friday
- The New Gay's (RIP) Zach and Michael DJ their monthly rock 'n' roll party, Beat City, upstairs at Chief Ike's.
- Liberation Dance Party is such a good standby.
- Lookin' for a groovy time? Hear London calling and make things happen at the Black Cat for the Modern World Dance Party.
- We love DJ Stereofaith, and his Becky party is pretty sweet.
- Get a jump on your New Year's resolution by joining DC Front Runners for an early morning walk/run (if you're not too hungover).
- Our New Year's Eve party is super sold out, but of course we wouldn't leave you high and dry. Here are our picks for NYE. Just remember, your best bet may be a house party - it can totally get to be amateur hour out there.
- Our top pick is RAW. Here's why:
1) BYT Favorite DJs Shea Van Horn and Bil Todd are joined by the truly legendary RICH MOREL (who you'll know from Blowoff and Hot Sauce)
2) Porn star Colby Keller hosts a spanking room for the brave.
3) it's only $10, so you really can't go wrong.
- There are few straight DJs whose parties we know will always be a great time for the gays, but Will Eastman is one of them. His group Volta Bureau and DJ LXSX Frank will be firing up the 9:30 Club Backbar. Small space, big party.
- For something a little more out there, hit up the Red Palace's Burlesque NYE party.

Sunday
- You're going to want to start with our time-tested guide to hangover cures.
- Then take a nap.
- Then start growing your beard, because Otter Crossing returns with a bang on Friday...
PS, we noticed that the DC Center put out this list of events to look forward to in 2012. Get ready, this year's gonna be a wild ride.
