Brightest Young Things

Here is another week of round up DC Street Style for you guys, and we couldn't be more excited about it! We have lined up styles from our very own DC bloggers,  from girly red skirts and white lace, to Pour La Victoire gold oxfords, it is time to soak in some DC style! And don't forget if you want more looks to be inspired check out their very own blogs! (oh, and if YOU are a street style blogger and would like to participate in these, let us know, email svetlana@brightestyoungthings.com).

CHERALEE LYLE  FROM LYLE STYLE

This weeks outfit was all about mixing hard and soft elements, pretty lace with hardware statement necklace, girly red skirt with tough ankle boots. I like mixing it up and coming up with new outfits from my closet without having to go shopping for anything new. Try putting two things together you never have before, you might love the results.

GO KATE SHOOT

This week is all about the love, man. With Valentine's Day rocking and rolling, last week in style photos I did just that. I shot a ton of wild and stylish performances, including backstage and after after after partying with Jack's Mannequin and Allen Stone, DC performance art powerhouse Holly Bass in her 7 hour marathon piece Moneymaker at the Corcoran, Hugh & Crye's launch event, and the newest rendition of smarto booze up Thirst DC. These photos show how wild, passionate lovemaking can happen in a myriad of stylish ways: with a rockstar and his audience and bandmates, a performance artist and her unstoppable urge to take it to the bridge, and devotedly stylish individuals and the details of their looks. These fashionable DCers and guests are living the legend, getting down to the get down, and look amazing doing it. Happy Valentine's, DC.

LINDA FROM NOMNOMBLINGBLING

"The DMV area was greeted with below freezing temperatures a couple days ago which prompted me to wear one of my favorite winter accessory: a hat. It's not exactly the most fashionable winter hat to wear like those big, stylish, floppy ones you see in clothing shops and magazines, but wearing it with a fitted blazer versus a winter coat can help it look casual chic."
