DFA's Holy Ghost! is playing at U Street Music Hall on June 19th at 7pm. Expect: sparkling synths, smooth vocals and a live set that, rumor has it, is much more suited to being experience in person and dancing, than over headphones.

let’s see…I have a toupee that supposedly used to adorn Nic Cage’s balding pate in the mid-nineties before he got plugs. I used to drop this little curio in conversation with the laaadies in order to get them over to my p(a)lace, but one of them ended up becoming my girlfriend so the toupee is now expendable. More randomness: persons named Meridith are significantly overrepresented in nic cage’s official fan club.
