Brightest Young Things

Apparently Seth Hurwitz (chairman of I.M.P. and co-owner of the 9:30 Club) loves Justin Jones so much that he decided to go into the record business. The first release from 9:30 records will be Jones' “The Little Fox EP."

Hurwitz appears undaunted by the dismal state of the music industry, "It’s no secret the traditional record business is in total disarray.  But I’ve been an independent businessman my entire career and have been used to taking things into my own hands, so we decided, hell, we’ll launch a record label so we can launch Justin Jones.”

So far there's no word of any other acts associated with 9:30 records. Who'd you like to see signed?

Isn't Justin related to either Seth Hurwitz or one of the other owners of the 9:30 Club?

@insert witty internet name here: Nah, Justin is a bartender at the club which is probably how he got his music to Seth. But he's not a big dog, just a regular guy playing good music.
