I'm happy to introduce BYT's first original comic, from our very own Lord Jason and artist Evan Keeling. The idea is to take your weird, interesting, funny, harrowing, and heartwarming stories about living in this gem of a town we call Washington, DC, and turn them into juxtaposed pictorial and other images in deliberate sequence, intended to convey information and/or to produce an aesthetic response in the viewer*.
*You know, like Garfield
So, if you have a story that you'd like to see, please email them to Jason and Evan at: talesfromthedistrict@gmail.com
Enjoy!

God loves a cheerful giver.
hmmph
you should have married him since he eyeballed your size so well. chicken.
I really like this idea. There must be thousands of potential strips.
well, hopefully people will start sending in stories.
ahem. *hint hint hint.
Uh, if people are sending in stories how are the words by Jason?
Hmmmm?
because people tell me the stories, then i edit them.
this is gay
yes, especially since the person who looks like an old black man is really a woman.
PS - you are the one who is gay.
Next time we're at the Cat you can sit on my lap and I'll tell you a story.
I hope it's a long meaty tale.
don't forget to wear your robe
Es no Bobby and the Wheelers, but es ok.
i like how the dude is carrying his bag'o'pants down the aisle.
Why is Santa black, poor, and riding the X2? White Santa sure isn't going to like this.
Nothing can match Bobby and the Wheelers, but I try so hard to live up to it.
seriously, trash bag full o pants.
