A quickie heads up:
Tonight, folks behind the Wooster Collective, a site dedicated to capturing the elusive magic that is art found on the streets around the world (supplied by what seems like a tireless and international contributor staff) are giving a lecture/presenting a slideshow on the joys of finding beauty in the unexpected places which transcends way beyond the Banksies and the Borfs.
Should be both enlightening, educational AND entertaining, which is the three “E’s” I look for in all my events
deets:
a lecture for the Washington Project for the Arts at the American University Museum.
it will be held at the Katzen Arts Center, 4400 Massachusetts Ave. NW from 6:30-8 p.m.
It’s free but RSVP is required. RSVP by e-mailing info@wpadc.org or call 202-234-7103.
+ dcist had more time to write about this, so read up here
