What: A 4×3 feet calendar that has been a staple of any design office ever since it was first designed and published in 1961 by Massimo Vignelli. Why: Because its the equivalent of the little (or big) black dress of calendars. How Much:30 bucks. Worth it? 100%. What: Another bag. I know, I know. Why:Some of you may remember seeing that goddamn adorable “For-Like-Ever” poster on the cover of “Domino” earlier this year. Some of you (like me) may even have really, really badly wanted to order it. BUT IT SOLD OUT IN, LIKE, SECONDS. Well, now, this holiday season you can a. lower your carbon imprint by getting this bag to carry your books/groceries/drugs around in and b. have the amazing “for-like-ever” logo with you for(like)EVER. What: 6 cards, old-school letterpressed on cream colored stock with matching envelopes, combining old-world techniques and new-world bite with their multi-purpose, multiple-choice squares for all occasions. Why: Maybe a few years back, someone sent me a pack of leterpressed stock cards with notes inside that said things like: “if something like true love existed, do you think it would fit into a card?”. i ended up buying an additional set just so I could send some AND display some around the apartment. How Much:14 bucks. Worth it? Just say no to typing and yes to to checking boxes. Plus, saying “please” and “thank you” never goes out of fashion.
