Bas Jan Ader is one of those artists that have been romanticized and loved by art students for decades.
"I'm too sad to tell you" is his most famous piece. I could now sit and write up a paragraph about it, but so much ink has been spilled over it before that I am just going to point you here in case you want to learn more.
